Chips, cracks, overall shape and colour can be altered by bonding tooth-coloured composite resin material seamlessly, to create the perfect smile you desire. Slight misalignment and gap closures can also be achieved with this method.

Is composite bonding right for me?

We will arrange a consultation to assess your smile and determine what you are looking for, and if composite bonding is the best fit for your requirements. Composite bonding is excellent for correcting the surface damage of teeth and fixing imperfections with minimal removal of tooth tissue. Additionally, it rarely requires anaesthetic and can be completed in just one visit.

Options such as porcelain veneers to crowns may be more suitable in certain instances, which is why we recommend a consultation, where we can assess and discuss options in depth.

Can I whiten my teeth after composite bonding?

Unfortunately, composite resin does not change colour once placed. If you are not happy with the overall colour of your teeth, we recommend you undergo a round of whitening to achieve the colour you desire before the composite bonding. We will then pick the composite colour to match this.

Once composite bonding is complete you will need a whitening top-up on occasion, to maintain the uniformity of your new smile.

How long will the composite last?

Generally, depending on maintenance, composite bonding lasts for between 3 to 10 years. We advise that polishing and retouch-ups may be required to keep the bonding looking its best to remove stains and chips. This is dependent on diet, regular check-ups and overall care taken with oral hygiene.

Truly the best dental team in London! I am extremely dental phobic having had years of bad treatment and experiences. However, this year I had to have quite a bit of work following an accident. Dr Shefali was kind and caring throughout the whole process, taking time (even on days off) to explain my treatment options and check on my well-being. The standard of work is outstanding - a pain free root canal carried out by Dr Suraj and crown replacement by Dr Shefali. The clinic is a calm, welcoming environment with a friendly reception team to put you at ease. After years of hiding my smile, it has been transformed. I booked an 80 pound emergency appointment to get my crown reattached. Doctor was very agitated by anything and everything she seemed stressed and impatient and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The whole thing took 10 mins for an appointment that was scheduled to be half an hour. It just felt like she didn't care and just wanted to rush through the appointment. I paid 200 pounds into total. Considering the cost of the service I expected a higher level of care and professionalism from the clinic. I'm very disappointed by the treatment of patients.
