Shefali particularly enjoys the creative aspect of dentistry, improving a patient’s smile and confidence through personally tailored treatment plans that incorporate all aspects of restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Shefali has undergone the year-long Aspire Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry course which has given her the skills to provide the best quality general dentistry and aesthetic procedures. Shefali is also experienced at straightening teeth with discrete aligners having completed the Invisalign Go and Clear Smile Aligner Courses. She also has a keen interest in carrying out anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers after undergoing training in Facial Aesthetics by the esteemed Dr Bob Khanna at the DBK Institute.
Shefali feels privileged to be in the position of co-owning Londent Oral Care after working there since April 2018 and forming close professional relationships with many of the patients and strives to provide excellent dental care with a personal touch.
Outside of work, Shefali’s passion for creativity continues where she practises calligraphy and makes jewellery. She also loves dogs, travelling and keeping fit.
Shwaita also completed the Aspire Advanced Aesthetics Dentistry course to enhance the quality of dental care, individual to each patient’s aesthetic requirements, ensuring patients understand and are happy with the final results and future care.
Shwaita enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but her main passion has been working with extremely nervous patients and helping them gain confidence in dental care again. She completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation, with an emphasis on understanding and managing phobia from Newcastle University.
Earlier in her career, she also spent time working as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer, which gave her the opportunity to improve her skills with more complex oral surgery.
Up until recently, Shwaita also worked as a clinical teacher at Kings College London once a week, supervising the next generation of dentists, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. She is also a member of the Local Dental Council to ensure she is up to date on all developments in the dental world as well as regularly attends conferences and courses.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, sculpture and pilates.
Having worked for a number of years in Oxfordshire, he moved back to London in 2017 and started working at Londent Oral Care as well as practising in private practice in Bedfordshire. He also works closely with the NHS 111 Out Of Hours service in Hertfordshire.
He is able to provide more advanced orthodontic treatments including Inman aligners, clear aligners and Invisalign Go. As well as this, he has a keen interest in Endodontics and has completed a postgraduate certificate in this field enabling him to diagnose and carry out root canal treatment more effectively.
Outside of the workplace, his love for travelling has seen him carrying out dental aid work and mentoring in Nepal, Zimbabwe and Panama. Most recently he was working with a medical NGO called Floating Doctors, and was one of the Dental Leads in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
Aside from teeth, he loves all things sport, is a massive foodie and can often be seen chasing after his misbehaving dogs!
He completed his vocational training in West Sussex and was awarded his Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons (MJDF RCS) shortly after.
Following this, Pano worked as a Senior House Officer in the Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Department at the Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital, where he assisted and gained insight into complex surgical procedures and medical and dental emergencies. Being a major trauma centre for London, Pano has worked on call in A&E and hospital wards, as well as in clinics and operating theatres.
Pano also has experience in general private practice within the UK and abroad, having spent time working in Singapore. It was throughout this period in time that he developed an interest in Periodontics.
In 2016, he returned to London and commenced his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology at the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, which he recently completed. Following this three-year postgraduate specialist training programme, he also passed the Speciality Membership in Periodontics exam by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Pano also currently is part of a teaching academy that runs courses on periodontal therapy for dentists and hygienists, sharing his knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Besides private practice, Pano is a keen traveller and photographer and enjoys exploring different parts of the world, different cultures and cuisines and dabbles in film photography.
In 2014, Sian was awarded membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Sian’s interest in the treatment of patients with dental anxiety and phobia led her to return to King’s College London in 2019 to gain her Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation with distinction. With this qualification, she has been able to help nervous patients access quality dentistry in a comfortable environment.
When not at Londent, Sian works in Kent providing NHS sedation services in secondary care.
Aside from dentistry, Sian loves exploring creative outlets including dancing and crafting.
She also has two very active sons, who keep her busy and fit!
In 2014, he completed MFDS examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Since then, Michael has undertaken further postgraduate training in implant dentistry and has expanded his practice to place and restore dental implants.
Prior to pursuing a career in dentistry, he gained his medical degree, graduating as a doctor and working in various London hospitals for 6 years.
Michael ensures he takes the time to explain all treatment options to his patients, and aims to provide a calm and gentle dental experience.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys sports and exercise, in particular martial arts. His interests in this area led him to complete an additional degree in sports and exercise medicine.
